Managing Db2 LUW environments in the agile world

Cristian Molaro, M Consulting - Wednesday 30 May - Session 3

Today, databases are getting bigger and more complex, and they need to become more agile as well. Databases changes and data movement need to be done quickly, on demand, and in a controlled way.

There are several challenges with dynamic environments. Complexity, parallel development, performance, data refresh, data model changes; all becomes urgent and on demand.Nevertheless, control and accountability remains a primary need in Db2 environments. However, traditional database management strategies may not be the optimal approach for today's needs.

This seminar is about industry experiences and best practices that can help you to get your environment more dynamic while keeping it under control. We will learn about strategies and techniques that will help us to better respond to agile and dynamic requirements.
