New date for Benelux DB2 Symposium 2012

The date for the Benelux version of the DB2 Symposium is set. The event will be at the nH Koningshof hotel in Veldhoven on 16-18 April 2012. I hope to see you there!

Klaas Brant is rewarded IBM Champion

KBCE is very excited to announce that the CEO of KBCE, Klaas Brant is rewarded IBM Champion by IBM. With this special award IBM honors the commitment of individuals with a special designation – in this case Data Management – as a way of showing our appreciation for the time and energy these exceptional community members spend on IBM products. This special award is separate from the IBM Gold Consultant title which Klaas acquired in 1999.

KBCE host for new z/OS episodes of The DB2Night Show™

The DB2Night Show, a FREE Edutainment Webinar Series, was launched by Scott Hayes CEO of DBI in September of 2009 with three simple goals: Educate, Entertain, and Inform. 98% of all people who attended the more than 50 shows so far said they learned something from the shows!

Each episode is centered on a DB2 educational theme. Show guests include IBM Experts, Top Industry brand name Consultants, IBM DB2 GOLD Consultants, IBM Information Management Champions, and DB2 Experienced Users.

Next to DB2 for Linux/Unix/Windows themed shows the DB2Night Show is expanding its free education offerings to include DB2 for z/OS themed shows and guests.
